It has the peculiar brand of wit that pervades the South, it is filled with Southern idioms and unusual words (supposively?), and it is filled with characters that can only populate the Southern states.

Her book concerns Taylor and Tim, two high school buddies /5(37). The book is full of drama and is a fast-paced, thus making reading easy. But some events were too far-fetched for me. I know this is fiction, but I like historical fiction to be as believable as possible.

Not sorry that I read it, and I will read the others for sure/5. The main character is Everleigh, a girl who from the start of the book is destined to die and her blood will choose the next king. But honestly there was nothing about this character that had me hooked and I can honestly say I didn't care about the outcome.

I think my dislike of this book has something to do with how poorly written it is/5. It is a horror novel by American author Stephen King.
